Akai Kiba (Red Fang) Vol. 11 and plans.

I figured out the mystery of "Akai Kiba (Red Fang)" that was published in 2000. "Akai Kiba (Red Fang)" is a 11 volume reprint of all the 6 Akai Kiba (Red Fang) stories before Blue Sonnet, Blue Sonnet (which is considered the 7th Akai Kiba story), and the 8th Red Fang story "32 Special Sharp" that takes place after the events in Blue Sonnet.

Akai Kiba (Red Fang) stories:
1) Wolf Girl Ran
2) Afternoon of Birds
3) Goodbye, Snow Hare
4) T.A.L.O.N. * A Hawk Floating in Darkness
5) Concrete Panic
6) Dove's Melody
7) Blue Sonnet
8) 32 Special Sharp

There might be more that I'm not aware of.

So...

KISS MY ASS SEOUL CULTURAL PUBLISHERS!

Why didn't you translate the last volume of Red Fang and try to pass off as if the series ended in a cliffhanger moment? Are you thinking your audience is stupid?

My brother, who worked in Korea for 6 months recently, tells me that the Korean comic industry seems to be troubled since there are these pirate sites that where you can d/l scanned comics and therefore no one buys the actual books. And these pirate sites actually charge users to d/l the comics on their sites!

If you can shed more insight as to what's going with the Korean comic industry, please post in comments since I don't know the whole story obviously.

Anyways since Wolf Girl Ran/Red Fang is considered out of print, you couldn't buy the Korean translated comics anymore. If you're interested, try searching for the 11 Volumes of Red Fang (紅い牙) published in 2000 by Masahiro Shibata (柴田 昌弘) at amazon.co.jp. Amazon Japan and some of the 3rd party sellers do ship internationally.

Since SEOUL CULTURAL PUBLISHERS didn't translate Red Fang 11 the final volume, I bought it from amazon japan and as to the ending of Blue Sonnet... kind of disappointed... "32 Special Sharp" was a somber story.

Ok so what's next.

With what little time I have on my hands now, I do plan to finish translating "Dove's Melody" and revise the earlier translations. Also, I plan to re-format it so line breaks indicate new panels.

I do plan to translate at the very least the 1st section of volume 3 that explains in depth Sonnet's origins as shown in the scenes in the opening song of the OVA.

But I do want to reach out to any scanlation groups who are interested (probably cause of the OVA) in picking up this project. If you're interested I'm even considering mailing out my copies for scanning.
